Deb Vogl

DHSc, PA-C

My name is Deb, and I am a psychiatric physician’s assistant. I started my career as a psychotherapist 20 years ago, with a focus on treating clients with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and learning disabilities. I also provided behavioral medicine consults to clients in the hospital and emergency department. As I began building a practice of assessing clients with long-term illness, spina bifida, sickle cell, ALS, and anoxic brain injuries, I became very interested in the physiologic pathways of the brain and the body. My passion for physiologic science led me to a career as a physician assistant. As a psychiatric physician assistant, I have extensive experience with trauma, neurosurgery, and emergency medicine. My desire for continuous learning, with an emphasis on the relationship between the brain and the body, earned me a doctorate in health sciences. My primary role at TRU Wellness Center is to perform a diagnostic assessment on clients who are interested in ketamine infusions. As the practice grows, my client services will grow as well. I look forward to meeting you soon!

Spravato

Primary Location:  Gilbert, AZ

Accepting New Patients: yes, in Arizona
Welcome! My name is Elisa, and I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner at TRU Wellness Center. I am happy to call Arizona my home and have lived here my entire life. My journey in nursing has been rich and diverse. I spent years working in a number of different roles, including a bedside RN, a clinical educator, and a patient experience leader, in an Emergency Room setting. This experience in a high-pressure environment fostered a deep sense of compassion and empathy, as I have witnessed firsthand the urgency of mental health crises and the profound impact of timely, compassionate care. It also afforded me the privilege of working with patients of all age groups and cultural backgrounds.

When I left the Emergency Room environment, I enrolled at and received my degree from Walden University to pursue a career in mental health. I am driven by the belief that mental health care is often overlooked and that patients are underserved, with treatments typically being reactive rather than proactive. I am passionate about preventing crisis situations and addressing mental health issues before they escalate. I specialize in medication management and Spravato treatment, aiming to care for the whole person and create safe spaces where individuals can learn to be comfortable with themselves.

I am inspired by the resilience and strength of the individuals I work with and am honored to support their growth, healing, and transformation. I am excited to be part of the team at TRU Wellness Center and look forward to partnering with you to achieve improved health.

Hi, I’m Dani, and I am the program manager at TRU Wellness Center. The one thing I enjoy the most about working here is helping clients in their journey toward better mental health and wellness!

I have worked inside and outside of healthcare over the years, and I always find my way back to mental health care. My passion for mental health care evolved from people in my life who have needed the benefits of mental health care. I first discovered that the field of mental health was my passion when I began working at a high-intensity treatment center for addiction while in nursing school. When I became a licensed practical nurse, I went to work for another high-intensity treatment facility, where I was a recovery specialist supervisor. When I’m not at work helping you, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, being outdoors, fishing, hunting, traveling, and cooking. I grew up in Augusta, Georgia, and I love watching college football, particularly the University of Georgia Bulldogs!
